The Best Easter Eggs This Year (I Didn’t Expect This…)

I wasn’t actually planning to write an Easter post this week.

But over the past few days, something has been happening that I can’t really ignore.

So many of you have been leaving reviews, sending messages, sharing your experiences — and honestly…

I think you might have already given me the best Easter eggs this year.

Your reviews 🐣

What’s been so interesting isn’t just that people are enjoying the shampoo bars.

It’s how similar the experiences have been, even across completely different hair types.

Fine hair, greasy hair, frizzy hair…
all coming back with versions of the same surprise.

One message mentioned how most shampoo bars had always left their hair feeling sticky — until now.

And that really stood out to me, because I know how common that experience is.

A lot of bars rely on heavier ingredients or leave a kind of residue behind, which can sit on the hair instead of actually rinsing clean. Especially on finer hair, that’s where that “coated” or slightly waxy feeling can come from.

So hearing that shift — from sticky to clean, soft, light — felt like a big one.

Another message talked about something I hear all the time:

wanting to avoid conditioner because it makes hair greasy.

And yet somehow still needing softness.

That balance is such a tricky thing to get right. This person had great results with the Oat Silk Conditioner, and is now a Conditioner Convert.

Because if something is too stripping, your scalp just produces more oil to compensate.
But if it’s too heavy, it weighs everything down and you’re back to washing your hair again the next day.

When that balance is right though, something changes.

Your hair settles.
It lasts longer.
It behaves.

And suddenly it’s not something you’re constantly managing.

Then there were the messages about softness and frizz.

Hair feeling smoother, easier, less effort.

And one that genuinely made me smile — someone saying they were on their fourth bar already and had no plans to switch back, thats what the Freya range can do for someone.

That kind of feedback never gets old.

Because trying something once is one thing…
but quietly making it part of your routine is something else entirely.

I think what all of these messages have in common is something quite simple.

It’s not really about shampoo bars.

It’s about hair that feels easy again.

Not overthought, not overloaded with products, not needing a full routine just to behave.

Just clean, soft, balanced hair that does what it’s meant to do.

When I was first creating the bars, that was always in the back of my mind.

Not just how to make something natural, or plastic-free —
but how to make something that genuinely fits into real life.

Something that works whether your hair is fine, or oily, or frizzy, or somewhere in between.

Something that doesn’t add more steps…
but quietly removes a few.

So if you’ve left a review recently, or sent a message, or even just told a friend…

thank you.

It really does mean more than you probably realise.

And this week especially, it’s been such a reminder of why I started this in the first place.

🐣 Happy Easter

And thank you for the best Easter eggs I could have asked for.
