A Year of Janni Bars: Highlights, Favourites & Thank Yous
As 2025 draws to a close, I can’t help but look back and feel incredibly grateful for another year of Janni Bars. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just discovered us, thank you for supporting this small, nature-inspired business. Here’s a little look back at some of the highlights, best sellers, and moments that made this year so special.
Your Favourites of 2025
It’s always fascinating to see which products become your go-tos each year! For shampoo bars, Dagda was the clear favourite—a true crowd-pleaser—followed by Lir and Freya. Coconut made a splash as a newcomer, and I was honestly surprised by how much you loved it! At the Gifted fair, where everyone could try the scents in person, Cherry Blossom stole the show—even though it’s technically “off season.” I can’t wait to see how it does this spring!
For soap bars, Milk and Honey led the pack by volume, while Hemp and Honey Lip Balm continued to be a customer favourite—especially after it won the Free From Skincare Award this year. And, as always, Honey Glow flew off the shelves (and melted just as quickly—if you know, you know!). It’s my go-to for keeping skin glowing all winter.
A Year of Recognition & Growth
This year brought some incredible honours and opportunities. I was thrilled to be a finalist in the Irish Country Magazine Awards in the Sustainable Category—a huge recognition for the work we do to reduce plastic waste.
I also had the chance to chat with Conall on That Great Business Show podcast, sharing the story behind Janni Bars and what drives me to keep going. On top of that, being accepted to and completing the Trinity and DCCI Accelerator Program was a huge milestone—packed with learning, inspiration, and big plans for the future.
Looking Ahead
